Homemade Goat Milk Soap

Years ago soap was made using Lard, Water, & Lye. I have stuck with this old fashioned method with a couple of adjustments.
Lard is still the main ingredient. I also add some coconut oil to give the soap some lather. Most people think if there's no bubbles then you aren't getting clean!
I replaced the water with goat milk. This makes a very moisturizing bar of soap.
Once the process of soap making is complete the lye is no longer present as a harsh chemical. You can't make soap without lye!
Each bar averages 4 ounces.
